WordCamp Europe 2026 is scheduled for June 4-6 in Kraków, Poland, and if you attend, the Gravity team will be there to meet you in person.

Before we leave for Kraków, we want to publish a brief overview of everything that will happen at WordCamp Europe 2026 (WCEU 2026).

We’ll cover how you can meet the Gravity team in person, some of the talks and workshops we’re most excited about, and some special Gravity offers and giveaways you can take advantage of.

Let’s get into it…

What’s on at WordCamp Europe 2026?

WordCamp Europe 2026

In total, WordCamp Europe will host over 50+ different talks and workshops over the two main session days.

Every day there will be:

  • Two simultaneous paths for conversation
  • Two simultaneous paths for workshops

So, at any given time, there may be four different events occurring!

You can see the full schedule for both days and all the tracks here, but here are some of the talks we’re most looking forward to…

June 5

June 5 will begin with registration from 8:00 to 9:00 and opening remarks from 9:00 to 9:30.

The different tracks don’t reach full speed until around 10:15. Ultimately, the final talks will conclude at around 5:15 p.m.

Here are some of the talks and workshops that caught our eye from the June 5 schedule:

  • Agent & WordPress AI: from instructions to tools & systems (workshop) – this hands-on workshop from Vito Peleg will help you learn how to use AI to create a real system that “audits live WordPress sites, validates the results, and generates structured tickets.” If you want to start building with AI, this workshop will give you the basic skills you need to implement your own projects.
  • Stress testing and scaling WordPress on a $12 VPS (talk) – this talk from Nedko Hristov will cover a hands-on DevOps exercise to stress test a WordPress stack on a $12 VPS. This includes visualizing bottlenecks in Grafana and “applying hybrid-static jumps.” If you’re interested in DevOps and scaling WordPress, this looks like a great event to attend.
  • The benefit of clarity: accessibility as an SEO strategy (talk) – this talk from Anne-Mieke Bovelett will take place at the same time as her previous talk on scaling WordPress, so you’ll have to choose between the two. You’ll learn how accessibility can benefit your site in a variety of ways, and you’ll also get a practical roadmap to start making your site more accessible.
  • Search AI: why your whole company should care (talk) – this talk from Emma Young delves into search AI, including why you/your company should care about search AI and some quick ways to start optimizing for it. Regardless of your personal feelings towards AI search, it isn’t going away any time soon – so don’t let your company get left behind!
  • Prepare your plugin for submission to directories (workshops) – if you are a WordPress developer looking to launch your own plugin, this workshop from David Perez and Fran Torres will cover everything you need to know. Learn what reviewers are looking for, how to avoid common problems, and how to simplify your code for faster approval (and better plugins).

Again, these are just a few of the talks and workshops that caught our attention. Click this link to see the full June 5 schedule of talks and workshops.

June 6

On June 6, the different tracks will start earlier, with two talks and one workshop starting at 9am.

The day will conclude with Matt Mullenweg’s closing remarks from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., and then closing remarks from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.

Here are some of the talks and workshops that caught our eye from the June 6 schedule:

  • Stop positioning yourself in obscurity to unlock growth (talk) – if you’re trying to market a product, this talk from Liza Bogatyrev of One.com will help you understand what can cause problems with revenue growth and product adoption.
  • Three levels of atomic product market fit (talk) – if you’re building products for WordPress, this talk from Debbie Levitt will teach you about three different levels of product market fit (PMF) – macro (value of the entire market), meso (features and services), and micro (interactions, moments, and experiences).
  • Build your first AI-powered WordPress plugin (workshop) – as the name suggests, this workshop from Jonathan Bossenger will teach you how to build a working AI-powered plugin from scratch. If you want to start building but aren’t sure where to start, this workshop is for you.
  • AI won’t save your marketing (but it might save you time and money) (talk) – in one of many AI-focused talks this year, Monika Dimitrova will discuss how AI can be a tool to strengthen your existing strategy (rather than a solution to fix a weak strategy) and how small businesses can use AI as an equalizer.
  • The hidden DDoS threat in WordPress: abusing search endpoints (talk) – if you’re interested in WordPress security, this talk from Samuel Silva will explore how bad actors are weaponizing WordPress search endpoints for DDoS attacks. Then, you’ll also learn some practical defense strategies you can implement to protect your site.
  • Documentation as the love language for your future (talk) – most people don’t like writing documentation, but this talk from Birgit Olzem will teach you why documentation is a strategic benefit, not just an added expense. It will also include some practical tips for creating documentation more effectively.
  • The fight for the open web is a lie – this provocatively titled talk from Jonathan Desrosiers will explore the real threats to the open web, and how to avoid losing the battle against closed source alternatives.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
